The JPICFA office operates under the umbrella of the Franciscan Family Association, a faith based organization legally approved in Kenya. 

JPICFA works closely with other Franciscan organizations, such as Franciscans International (FI), Damietta Peace Initiative (DPI) and the Comprehensive Course on Franciscan Missionary Charism (CCFMC Africa). 

It networks with other Justice and Peace organizations present in Africa and elsewhere. 

The Franciscan JPICFA office serves to amplify the voice of the JPIC animators of the Franciscan Orders and Congregations, of the Secular Franciscans (SFO) and of the people they serves. Its main purpose is to create a network between the Franciscans in Africa and offer them tools to enhance their work and commitment in the area of Justice, Peace and Integrity of Creation.
